Mommy's Funeral Expenses

Donation protected
My world forever changed, November 28th, 2015. My name is Nicole Giglio and I am proud to say that my best friend was my mother, Michele Guido Giglio.

She didn't have much in this world, but she did have the love of everyone who was lucky enough to have ever known her.

Mommy and Daddy have been divorced for many years, but Daddy has always tried his best to help her whenever possible. He missed a lot of work and he has spent a lot of his own money to help us care for our mom - but since she never remarried, all of her financial burdens, medical decisions and funeral arrangements have fallen to me, as her oldest child. To make matters worse, I lost my job while my mom was in the hospital and I have absolutely no financial means to pay for my mom's hospital bills and funeral arrangements.

Mommy was only in her 40's, and no one expected her to leave us so soon. But, in the blink of an eye, our beautiful mother was gone. She suffered a massive heart attack and went into a coma, instantly. We never got to say goodbye. Sadly, her heart was damaged beyond repair and she did not survive long enough for a heart transplant, What little assets she did have will be used to pay for her medical debts and fees from an apartment management company that charged her for breaking her lease while she was dying in the hospital.

I know that there are many people reading this who never met my mom and I want to thank you for taking the time to hear our story. There are also a lot of people who loved her dearly and I am hoping that some of you will understand how difficult of a journey this has been for my family. Nothing will ever bring Mommy back to us, but we need so badly to be able to give her a proper burial and pay proper respect to her. Within the next year, my brother will get married and he will not have our mother to tie his tie, or kiss his cheek on his wedding day. My sister will graduate high school without seeing our mom's loving smile in the crowd - and I will get married someday and have children who will never feel the special hugs from their grandmother. We know that our emotional struggles will continue - but we need your help with the immediate struggles that are financial. We will all be so grateful for whatever amount you are able to give toward her funeral arrangements. Your generosity will allow us to say the heartfelt goodbyes we were never given the opportunity to say. Thank you so much for your consideration and God bless you all for caring.
