Writer's Travel Fund For Autism

My name is Steven Vitte and I am a freelance writer. I work on various writing projects that I find fun and challenging. I also happen to be a blogger as I run a couple blogs. One of the blogs I run is The Autistic Help where I provide my own thoughts and advice on tough topics involving people that are on the Autism Spectrum.
I am on the Autism Spectrum myself as I have been diagnosed with Asperger's Syndrome. I have been meaning to reach out to other people on behalf of the Autism community by going on travels to explore. It's been a goal of mine to explore new places with the intent of promoting Autism Awareness and chase my dreams of obtaining new opportunities as a writer.
However, I am currently experiencing many economic troubles. I am at a point in my life right now where I can't afford to go on any trips. Being in the field of freelance writing, I receive unbalanced payments, so there's never a guarantee that I will make enough money to even go on a mini-trip. Due to the fact that I still live at home, and my mother is disabled, whatever finances I make goes to paying the bills.
I am using the Go Fund Me platform looking for support because the other resources I have used have dried up. I am running out of options and I need all the help I can get.
For example, one of my main dreams is to attend to a video game convention. It's been a main goal of mine to enter the Video Game Industry as a game writer, and to network more effectively with people who are in the Video Game Industry. Another blog I run is the Gaming Journalist Gazette where I talk about nothing but video game-related topics. Considering how expensive video game convention tickets are and considering my situation, it will be impossible for me to achieve this goal without help.
I would love to share with the Go Fund Me community the work that I have done so far as a freelance writer upon request. In summary, it never hurts to ask for help once in a while, and I am asking for help here because my family and I absolutely need an emotional lift. Our economic struggles have taken a tremendous toll on us.
