Hi gang!
We are the Worthley's. We have been married for 6 years. I got to marry my high school sweet heart. :) Nathan is currently a police officer and I am a Special Education teacher. As many of you know, we have been struggling with infertility for several years. I have a disorder called PCOS (polycystic ovarian syndrome) which basically means that my eggs do not fully mature. We have done multiple unsuccessful treatments for this.
When I was a little girl, I dreamed of adopting. I told all of my serious boyfriends (which consisted of one-- the one I'm married to) that it was a deal breaker if they were not on board with adopting. The LORD has been gracious to me and has given me a husband that is excited about adoption. We believe that adoption is extremely important because it is the perfect picture of the gospel. We were all unwanted children wandering around in the darkness, but God in his mercy chose to adopt us into his Kingdom through his son Jesus Christ. This is great news! We want a chance to show that kind of love to someone too.
As many of you know, adoption is expensive. We also know that we will not be raising this child alone. We will need the help of our family and friends. It takes a village, right. We need your help to raise the money. To adopt a child from Oklahoma, it will cost approximately $17,000. Please consider giving to this fund as we would like to adopt as debt free as possible.
