Hope is Alive!

There's no doubt about it. These children represent a continent near and dear to my heart - Africa!
Grinning from ear to ear, their precious faces indicate that within their chest beats a heart full of hope and promise for the future. It's the kind of hope that's contagious and that, honestly, everyone would like to experience on a daily basis.
Yet, we'd likely all agree that hope is in short supply way too much of the time.
The kind of enemies that threaten its life? Unresolved conflict in key relationships, deep sorrow, confusion, and anger. You get my drift.
My vision? As a minister of peace and reconciliation, I want to do all I can to extend hope to the masses and the individual for as long as I live.
It's in light of this calling, that I'm thrilled to have been invited to head to Nigeria this September where I'll participate in a conference for roughly 2800 evangelists, pastors, and ministry leaders.
The intention? In plenary sessions and breakout workshops, I will complement and encourage the good work that God is already doing through these amazing agents of change.
I am thankful that two other women will be traveling with me. We will be in Nigeria from September 6 - 16.
Because I believe so strongly that God has provided this amazing opportunity, I'm inviting you to participate through your prayers and financial support.

3) Wisdom as I prepare plenary and workshop content
4) Cultural sensitivity
5) Financial provision
Necessary Finances:
I need to raise $3000. This covers the cost of passport renewal, travel visa, shots, air fare, and miscellaneous on the ground expenses in-country.
Most of my financial needs will occur by mid-July. In particular, I'll need to purchase my tickets soon, which will be between $1,500 and $1,800. Any contribution will be greatly appreciated.
