Hello,

My name is Elad Herskowitz and I am a zookeeper at The Zoological Center Tel Aviv - Ramat Gan, or more commonly known as the ‘Safari’.

There is a drive-through African safari area which is home to over 600 animals. The department is split into two separate areas: a lion area and another for the other 22 species of animals, such as: rhinos, hippos, giraffes, zebras and many more.
The African safari is the size of 860 acres. The animals there are wild, and deliberately have no contact with humans, in order to deliberately simulate the real wildlife in Africa.

In the zoo, I launched different projects, which aim to examine the life of wild animals. The results will be posted. Watch the video to get a preview!
These projects are based on prolonged observations and learning about wild and captive animals. Tracking these animals is difficult and dangerous, so I set up surveillance cameras in strategic locations. Some of the photos are even taken from the air with special helicopters.

Unfortunately, the projects are slow because of lack of funds. To make these projects come true, I need your help.

Any donation will be greatly appreciated. Your generous donation will be used to improve the animals’ quality of life and welfare.
Sharing this with your friends will also help!

On mine and the animals' behalf, thank you!
