Raising a child with profound needs is a huge challenge and not everything is given to you. George requires a light weight walker at a cost of just over £2,000. In addition to this we are always looking to raise funds for further equipment and activities to give all our children the broadest and best learning experience we can.
As such, a team of our staff and parents have risen to the challenge of running the Chesterfield Half Marathon on 21st October - and believe me for some of us that's going to be a huge challenge.
All funds we raise will be split between George's walker and going into the school fund for other equipment and activities (if we raise enough to have paid for the walker in full then any surplice will also go to the school fund).
We want to give George and all our children an amazing experience of school that they remember for life and that sets them on the path to success.
We are so grateful for any support you can give no matter how big or small.
