Weston Park,McMillan Charity Events

The last few months have been tough as I have been having treatment for cervical cancer. At the time of writing this I won't know if my treatment has worked as the Brachy therapy keeps working for several weeks after. During my treatment I have met some lovely people along the way. On one of my chemo sessions I met a woman who bought in some care packages for the patients. These included toiletries, fluffy socks in a bag with a positive note on from the provider who was 2 years in remission from having breast cancer. This really touched me and was the first time I felt like somebody out there really cared for me. Along with my sister we have organised a Ladies Night on 31st March 2018 @ Harleys Bar in Staveley. We hope to raise as much money as possible for Weston Park Hospital and Macmillan.
