OUR STORY
When I look at the world around me, when I venture onto the web each day, or mix in social circles as a father of 12 and youth leader…I look a little bit deeper.
A little bit harder.
I see a disheartening pattern: youth making choices out of fear, pain, discouragement and hopelessness. Kids who are lost, or on the verge of giving up—not only on their own hopes and dreams, but sometimes on life itself.
It’s too often that I see youth come from good homes and from good parents…but because of fear or guilt, find themselves unwilling to communicate with those who truly love them.
Others walk questionable paths or mimic their lives after less than worthy role models—picked because they’re little more than rich and famous.
For over a decade I have dedicated my life to teaching youth through inspiring stories. From books and games to classes, youth organizations and countless articles—my focus is to empower a generation with the tools they need not only to survive, but thrive.
Helping youth develop beliefs and convictions that inspire hearts and shift perspectives about their individual potential. It’s not about race, nationality, gender or religion.
It’s about people.
Wanted Hero has helped thousands of youth discover some important truths in their lives:
You are NOT a mistake.
You are NOT alone.
You are NOT stupid, ugly, worthless or beyond helping, saving, befriending or LOVING.
YOU ARE MORE THAN YOU THINK YOU ARE!
When a person realizes this, an amazing transformation takes place. Hope and possibilities appear where there was none…and they awaken to an amazing new life that quickly affects those around them in a profound and positive way!

I have been invited to speak and teach at every turn--from outside my home state, across the country and even internationally…but it requires resources to make that happen.

EVERY DOLLAR MAKES A DIFFERENCE!
I've worked on a shoestring budget for a decade, fighting for every inch of ground gained. This campaign is to remove my roadblocks. These funds will allow me to create, travel and teach. It's what I do best.
But what can a DOLLAR do? Wellllll...how about:
$1 will cover the hosting cost of the Wanted Hero website for 2.45 days.
$1 takes me 5.45 miles further to speak at an event or teach a class.
$1 provides a steaming cup of my favorite coffee to help me keep laboring 90+ hour weeks for kids.
$1 provides a color copy of “Just for TEENS: Abuse, Violence, Depression, Drugs, Death & How To Understand Your Parents ”
$1 allows me to create one more podcast .
$1 provides 6 full color, gloss bookmarks.
