Joe'l Gonzalez Recovery Fund

On January 15, 2017, Joe'l Gonzalez was severely injured in an accident. The results of the accident were two dislocated vertebrae and a contusion to the top of his spinal cord; an injury that would leave him bed-ridden in the ICU for two weeks.

Now on the road to recovery, having gained some functionality to the top half of his body, Joe'l and his family are preparing for a new set of challenges. He and his loved ones are preparing for the financial obstacles associated with Joe'l transitioning out of a rehab facility and going home. Due to insurance being unwilling to cover further expenses of staying in the rehab facility, Joe'l will be discharged three weeks from now, on March 23, 2017.

Support has come in many forms--emotional and spiritual, and for those who can, it would be greatly appreciated if you could donate to aid in Joe'l's recovery process.

The funds will be used as follows:

Outpatient Physical Therapy: $15,000
     - Treatment Center (2-3 sessions/$500 per week)

Home Modifications: $15,000
      - Door Widening
      - Bathroom Modification
      - Wheelchair Lift

These are items that insurance will not cover.
