Stephanie's Tiny House Dream

My name is Stephanie Henschen and this summer, with the help of my very patient family and friends, I will be building my very own tiny house. A 145-Square foot, not so small dream.

I am a college graduate student at the University of South Florida's School of Architecture and Community Design. I have a year left until I finish my Masters in Architecture. My thesis, final year, will deal primarily with the "tiny house movement" and the communities associated with that movement. My own tiny house will be an asset to my research.

Day 1 of my build starts tomorrow! 

I have been planning and saving for this moment for about a year now. Being a college student, this I may say was a difficult task. I have saved enough to buy the trailer and build the walls and roof of the house, but now I need your help to finish my dream!

I still need money for windows, doors, a shower base, a compost toilet, a sink, lighting fixtures, a fan, and more!

After my house is completed and I have thrown that cap in the air in May, I plan on taking my house across country exploring what the world has to offer me.
