SOUTHSIDE CHICAGO NEED SUPERMARKETS

Hi my name is Tish Hyman, I am a recording artist from the Bronx New York. I recently made my first trip to Chicago and found out that it if the most segregated city in the country. I also learned that there are food deserts. Have you ever heard of a food desert?! It's basically a neighborhood where there are no supermarkets. This means the people who live there shop in corner stores and can not access fresh fruits and vegetables. I'm hoping to raise awareness and money to build a supermarket in South Side Chicago.
