As of ~3:50 pm Central Time, June 2, 2015 the entire crew of the place I work was let go by new management. The only chance to stop this? If regional management says that we stay.
I doubt that this will happen. This place is going to go to hell in a hand basket fast and I don't want to wait around to see it happen. Currently I have no where to go, no way to bring in money, and no more than $100 coming in from my last paycheck. I don't know what I'm going to do. I don't have anyone that can help. I have no one that will let me crash at their place for a bit while looking for a new job....and even this job is a godsend.
I am approximately 97% blind in my right eye with damage to the optical nerve that has cause irreversible scar tissue. This makes it impossible for me to get a driver's license in all 50 states, which makes it difficult to get work at all. I was lucky with my last three jobs and this is the only one I was fired from. I quit the last one because they refused to acknowledge Doctor's orders that I was to not work. The one prior to that...I left because the manager was incredibly terrible and constantly blaming me for stuff I didn't do.
As it stands right now it's a "he said, she said" with Regional Management right now. Regional management is saying that the new manager wants to fire us all. New manager is saying it's coming from regional management.
As of ~3:50 pm Central time June 2, 2015 I am assuming that I have been fired and have been asked to vacate the room I pay for via working (otherwise I wouldn't have a place to live) by 12pm Central Time June 3, 2015.
This is something I cannot do. I only make $174 a week outside of my room pay. Getting fired right now will put me with $116 in my pocket to get a ticket to go somewhere AND money for until I find a job. This is nothing compared to what I need to just MOVE my stuff and get a last minute bus ticket.
As it stands I currently have NO place to go. So on top of finding the money to go...I need a place to go...these aren't wants. These are NEEDS. Please help me?
