Last of 23 Missing Siblings Found!

Donation protected

After a long 57 year search, the last of the dispersed 23 biological siblings have been finally been found!

In 1958, after the unexpected death of our mother, Alberta Williams, all 23 of her children, including 4 sets of twins, were separated and spread across the country. Many went to orphanages, while some were adopted into other families. As we grew, our hearts yearned to know each other. This yearning resulted in a multi-state, multi-year search to reunite us. In spite of facing relentless brick-walls, one by one, 22 of the siblings were steadily located along the heartfelt journey. And although the long trail grew cold for the remaining sibling, Frances, we never gave up hope that the family would one day be wholly joined together. Well, against seemingly impossible odds, in June 2015, Frances (pictured above) and her family was finally located and contacted!

Today we share photos and stories over social media, but now that our family is complete, there is one final step left in our journey; TO MEET IN PERSON! We want to hug, to cry, to sing songs, to play games, to experience what we have missed in each other lives. We want the brothers and sisters, along with the nieces and nephews to finally spend time together as a family. That has been the goal since the search began.

We are planning a physical family reunion on our mothers 100th birthday in June 2016. Already, we imagine and dream about coming together, with the hopes that our mother will smile down from heaven and wraps her arms around all of her 23 babies, grand babies, and great-grandbabies. The only thing that is stopping this reunion from taking place is the financial resources needed for travel, lodging, catering, and activities. The budget for such a large family is overwhelming and we have decided to ask the kind general public to help! With your help, the dream to reunite and experience one another face to face will finally come true. Many members of the family are not financially capable of contributing to the budget, so we are asking you to help us to come together. If you can find it in your heart to donate even just 5 dollars, we will forever be grateful for this once in a lifetime opportunity.

This reunion will help heal much of the hurt we have experiences from being separated and will bring closure to a lifetime of questions. From the bottom of our hearts, we thank you! ~~The Williams Family
