James "Kymo" Road to Recovery

I'm writing on behalf of my dear brother ..... Asking for help with his recovery fundraiser.

His name is James "Kymo" Verzosa .... He was in a motorcycle accident early-April. He has a T11 shatter, a broken right pelvis, right femur and left wrist. (Currently: in a wheelchair waiting for his body to mend) physical therapy is next on the agenda...

We are asking for help with his recovery.

James is living life like he never thought he would have to. But when you ask him about riding a motorcycle, he still lights up with a smile on his face.

"It feels great," said James. "It's like when you're riding your bicycle when you're a little kid, you just have the wind in your face. It's the same sensation."

It's something he's done since his high school years. But on April 9, the freedom he felt while hitting the open road was snatched away.

A man who once proudly served his country as a reserve army .....is now confined to a wheel chair. (one day he will walk and ride again) in time .... The most difficult part is accepting the help he desperately needs from others today.

"Depending on somebody to do stuff for you," said James. "I'm used to being independent. I don't like help from anybody. But now I can't help it."

James would be the one to give you his shirt off his back.... His last dollar... Help you as needed.... Charity events.... Help support Christmas toy run.... Easter toy run for kids at the Oakland children hospital....
He is an amazing Husband, brother, father, grandfather, co worker, friend and human being....
