We are four young violinists from different parts of the world. Good long-time friends who first met in Vienna quite some years ago during our early studies. We always profoundly enjoyed making music together, going to each other’s concerts and otherwise sharing our love to music with each other.
Being largely a-political – all four of us - it is especially painful to see musicians nowadays that can not or do not want to make music with each other because of a political situation or specific political views.
Thus recently, we found ourselves wishing to send a message not just to audience but also to our colleagues and fellow-musicians out there:
The very essence of music as a language and the main power of musical interaction is to bridge-over, reach out, move and penetrate there where words have often failed. Most certainly political conflicts between societies and peoples, must not deprive the musicians within them from continuing to create and communicate abstract beauty through music.
Our goal is nothing new.
We want to perform great music on the highest level: Music that survived the Test of Time. Music that was as important, necessary and instrumental to people at times of wars, revolutions and all imaginable human failure as it was craved-for at times of peace and social flourish.
Liaised with a chamber Ensemble and our personal careers, we would like to "join forces” as a quartet of violins, performing contrasting inspiring works that will bring people closer.
In order to realise our project we turn to you, our fans for help in producing a short video clip.
We pledge for your financial support and in return would like to offer the following:
- for donations starting from 10 euros, you'll get a free ticket to one of our concerts (depending on where you are).
- for donations starting from 20 euros you'll get a ticket and a high-quality signed photo.
- for donations starting from 50 euros you'll get the above + a signed CD.
- for donations starting from 150 euros you'll get all of the above and an invitation to join us for a meal after the concert.
