Voices For Pets

Donazione protetta
"Voices For Pets" represents a trending effort for those involved in seperation angst from there loving pet, for those pets to be finally recognized and given a voice in a Court of Law for fair and equal placement during litigation and trial.

Barthel vs. Barthel or "Peppers Bill" is currently being drafted for introduction for bill presentation into the Illinois General Assembly in Springfield.  A Bill that will hopefully set presidence that will avoid the legal pitfalls Pepper experienced while kept from his rightful owner for two years.

Despite numerous similar cases heard in other States regarding pet recognition, shamefully your pet is viewed as a table, lamp or other similar inert "object".  Under Fourth Amendment rights, people are not aware that animals are still considered "property".  In addition, are subject to who has the pet at the moment, and in extreme circumstances can be placed in a shelter if contesting parties cannot agree.

To be clear, Peppers case is finished with him being placed with his rightful owner.  In further this effort is without prejudice and not in attempt to discuss and or defame any existing opposing parties.  However through this experience have found numerous similar cases of "pet custody" misplacement, pets being used as "tools", and or neglect for vengeful practices.

"Voices for Pets" represents a strong current trend for pet representation in new thinking, and change of attitude recognizing that our loved ones are not an inert object, have feelings, desires, and need to be cared for with the utmost respect as they are unable to speak for themselves during these circumstances.

You have to ask yourself, would you walk away from your pet or child during these times?

All contributed funds go for "Voices for Pets" efforts as "Peppers Bill" is drafted, reviewed by a Rules Committee and eventually introduced to the Illinois General Assembly.  Any excess funds, or should the Bill falter in either house will be directed to the new Dupage County Animal Rescue no Kill Shelter.

About Pepper.  For more than two years Pepper was withheld from its rightful owner during litigation. Pepper only found his way home amid controversy after detained counsel having lacked animal compassion withdrew and his owner chose to represent himself, Pro Se.  Making national headlines, and after two years Pepper was awarded and able to finally head home.
