In Tobyhanna, PA, VFW Post 3448 is in dire straits. They have no ultilities and a great deal of debt. They cannot get back up and running without the support of Americans who are willing to go the extra mile for these Veterans. These VFW Posts not only give Veterans a place to congregate, but also serve as locations for community events, voting stations and places where necessities are prepared and sent to OUR active duty troops in foreign locations.
After all, these combat Veterans have been YOUR heroes, now they are asking you to become their heroes by helping them who have fought and bled for YOU.
George Piller is the newly elected Commander of VFW Post 3448 as of 5 April 2015 when these issues became his to rectify. He and his Vets are involved in a struggle to save this crucial mainstay of our community.
