Vegetarian Kills Cancer!

Donation protected
Not only do you get brain cancer, but you get the medical bills and expensive treatments to go with it. Please help us continue to make it easier for Kevin to focus exclusively on his health and beating this cancer by helping him pay his hospital bills and treatments. He is now applying for disability due to being incapable of employment (due to both the law and decreasing cognitive functionalities).

Continued love and appreciation,

The Rose Family (Spring 2014)

-----------------------------------------------

Thank you all for the love, positive thoughts, and support! I'm very fortunate to have such a large, caring and loving team surrounding me as I battle it out with brain cancer. From my loving girlfriend, to my family, my friends, my co-workers, and to the associated network, I am so appreciative and grateful for all of you.

While I will fortunately be able to continue working throughout potential treatments and do have health insurance, the cost of the brain surgery, ongoing multivitamin IV treatments ($300 weekly), and lifestyle approach to curing cancer are not of the minimalist nature that I follow. The pathology report from the Mayo Clinic indicated that the cancer is terminal, and I've been recommended chemotherapy for the remainder of my life following 30 days of intense brain radiation, but this definitive diagnosis is simply unsatisfactory to me. Thus, I intend on attacking this brain cancer from more angles than one - and without poisoning myself through conventional methods. Beyond continuing to research future clinical trials and alternative treatments, and pursuing everything we can through our resources and network, I will also be attacking the cancer with the appropriate diet (vegan, no oil) and natural supplements.

Unfortunately, not all of this lifestyle is as affordable as I'd like it to be. I appreciate any and all support in this battle, and please, do not feel like the only way to help is through financial support! The good vibes are just as helpful!

Thank you all again so much for all the kind wishes and care! Please visit the blog to keep updated!

With love and gratitude,

Kevin Rose (Spring 2013)

UPDATE, May 2, 2013:

Kevin had his first MRI since he was discharged from the hospital this week, and received the results yesterday. While the MRI results showed a small amount of activity around the remnants of the tumor following surgery, the tumor has not grown anywhere near back to it's previous size. All in all, a pretty good outcome! Kevin will continue his naturopathic treatment and is just now getting into the heart of it.

He is feeling great and has lots of energy. He is spending his time between treatments playing basketball, hiking and is even back to work part-time. We will continue to monitor the tumor closely and will have another MRI in early July.

If you do not want to donate money to Kevin, and/or would like to contribute more directly to his treatment, here are some other options that can be very helpful in Kevin's challenge with terminal brain cancer:

- Access to an infrared sauna is extremely helpful when battling cancer. Infrared heat has the ability to penetrate the body up to two inches, as oppose to other saunas or heat therapies. This is applicable in cancer because cancer cells cannot live in temperatures that exceed 107 degrees. It is recommended for Kevin to have 40 minutes spent in an infrared sauna daily, however, he does not have daily access to one. The Passive Fitness Routine at Ashiyu not only provides access to an infrared sauna, but also to a whole body vibration platform, another form of alternative cancer therapy. For information on how to purchase a gift certificate for Kevin to Ashiyu, please visit: http://www.ashiyu.com/gift-certificates.html.

- Kevin is taking Univase Forte as a form of daily enzyme therapy and it has been proven to be quite beneficial for glioblastoma patients. These enzymes are taking in large quantities seven times a day, and can be quite costly over time. Here is information on where to purchase Univase Forte (http://www.oasisadvancedwellness.com/products/univase-forte.html). Kevin's mailing address can be found on his blog if you would like to help him with his enzyme therapy.

- Whole Foods & Trader Joe's gift certificates are also extremely helpful. Between juicing, buying organic, etc., Kevin is purchasing $300 worth of food weekly in effort to inhibit the growth of his cancer with the ketogenic diet.
