Dream Center Missions Trip

Hello, my name is Jenna Brown. As college came I fell into the grasps of alcoholism/addiction. As I began my journey of getting clean (from all substances) graduating in December 2014, I began to feel like a complete new me. I re met Christ all over, dedicated myself to meetings, and I had lost my ambition to do things for myself, completely giving myself to others. I fell in love with my church (City Church in Batavia) along with fell in love with God. My 21st birthday is July 12. The City Church will be heading out to the Dream Center in LA donating all their time from July 13-18. They do this through mobile hunger relief and medical programs, residential rehabilitation programs for adults, a shelter for victims of human trafficking, transitional housing for homeless families, foster care intervention programs, job skills training, life skills, counseling, basic education, Bible studies and more. They work to meet people where they are at, to bring them hope and a way off the streets. Serving over 80,000 individuals and families a month. The only way this is possible is with the help of volunteers. For my 21st, I will not be picking up a drink/drug thanks to God. All I would like to do is give my time day in and out from the 13-18th to others making my 21st birthday absolutely special serving others, helping people. Please help me get there, in turn helping those that are suffering.
