S.O.S: Sponsor our Students' Success

Greetings,
We are a group of teachers writing from Valverde Elementary asking for your support to recognize some of our students. We have 38 out of 400 students with PERFECT attendance that we would like to celebrate. We are planning a surprise trip for these dedicated students as a reward to our local amusement park, Elitches, in May and are asking from our community, friends, and family for a $30 donation to sponsor a child. Each $30 donation will cover ticket, transportation, and a snack on this special day. In return, each $30 donation will receive a handwritten, personalized thank you card from the student(s).
Our goal is to reach $1,200 dollars by April 30th. Any extra donations will be used to fund other Positive Behavior Support activities and are greatly appreciated.
Thank you for supporting our Title I school in our endeavor to put sustaining systems in place that help our students build positive character and for giving MANY of our students an opportunity that they have never had due to the high cost of this amusement park.
This donation will be a great affirmation to our students that have come every day, as well as be an incentive to others to improve their attendance.
