Vael's Transition

Hello everyone. My name is Kali, but I really prefer to be called Vael. I am almost 18 years old, and am a trans boy, living in Canada.

I have known that I was in fact a boy since I was very small. I would always be found playing in dirt, and shoving worms into my pocket to later surprise mymother and Nan with. I was a bit of a trouble maker, as you can tell.

Over the years, while I grew up, I wore masculine clothes- until I got into grade seven, where a lot of my promblems started. I did not shave my legs until the night after my first day, just because of the kids making fun of me. I didn't understand why it was such a big deal though.

All throughout those wonderful middleschool years, I was dealing with many problems at home, and accounted that to my being sad all the time. However, as time passed and those probblems were dealt with (me moving out of my abusive father's house) I was still left with that feeling like I don't belong.

Then, grade nine year of highschool, I joined GSA (Gender and Sexuality Awareness), and my life changed.
I learned about transgender people, and thought "Could it be possible?" I mean, I felt a lot like what those people described; feeling empty inside, like you don't belong anywhere, along with a lot more awful feelings wrapped into one neat little bundle.

So now, after all my years in highschool trying to figure out if that was in fact right; now I am certain. 

I am a boy.

And that's why I started this page. I have a dream, that maybe one day, I might actually look how I want to, instead of just the way I look in the mirror.

I am asking for help- something that is hard for me to do, mind you. If you could donate to help me realise my dreams, I would be forever in debt to you. Even a dollar or two would be amazing.

In return, I can offer drawings, stories, or I could even sing you a song. I need this. I need your help.

The money that is donated to me will go towards; my top surgery; hormone replacement therapy; and clothes such as binders and packers.
