My name is Cameron Elder and I am 24 years old. Over the past 6 years I have dedicated my life to a sport that stole my heart... All-Star Cheerleading. 
Being a gymnast, I was very dedicated and focused on my goals. But once I found my time as a gymnast coming to an end, I decided to look into All-Star Cheer and I instantly fell in love. It was everything that I was missing in Gymnastics. I loved stunting, tumlbing, performing, and for the first time, feeling like I belonged to a team. 
The next 6 years I aged out of senior level, which meant I couldnt compete anymore. So I moved on from being a part of a team to coaching them. It was amazing to see them all grow not only as athletes but as remarkable young men and women. This sport and these kids became my passion.
But now its time for a new chapter in my life. I was contacted and told about a new oppurtunity for myself, it was a chance for me to compete again. So I went out on a limb just to see what would happen, and I ended up making the International Open Level 4 Coed team at Cheer Athletics, the most decorated gym in the cheer industry.
Here's the kicker, cheerleading is one of the most expensive sports that someone can be a part of. Not only for your average family, but especially for someone my age. To be accepted onto this team has honestly been a dream come true and I know it will be difficult, stessful, and mentally exhausting, but I hope that I will gain so many more oppurtunities from it. I'm not one to beg for money cause thats never who I want to be. But, if you would like to donate any money to make this dream a reality...I cant even explain how greatful I would be. Here's to all the people that I've come to love in cheer, to the ones that have always supported me in my cheerleading career, and heres to a new chapter in my life on my Dream Team, SavageCats!
