My personal journey of emotional growth has become my passion and quest to enlighten and inspire women of all ages, all colors, all cultures and all walks of life. Offering one kind word can remind a person that they are worthy and stronger than what they believe.
I created Circles of Good as a non-profit organization to reach out to every woman across the globe. My intention is to help women recapture their Worth, Beauty and Strength.
Audrey Hepburn said it best “Happy Girls ARE the Prettiest.” Circles of Good.org believes it is not about your size, race, culture, or the clothes you wear, it is about believing in yourself that creates Happiness!!
What a wonderful world, if all the Bullying is stopped, All the Judgement ended, opinions didn’t matter and negative words ricocheted off of us. Circles of Good.org is about surrounding each and every one of us with positive words.
For the past 20+ years as an instructor, radio host, author, and speaker I have had the privilege of working with women ages 7 to 92. Unfortunately, many of them commonly shared their stories of why they did not feel good enough, pretty enough, emotionally strong enough or worthy enough to just be themselves.
My heart always goes out to those who are traveling this journey of detrimental thoughts and feelings. I too can identify and understand these feelings, as I have lived most of my life feeling the same way.
The path I walked consisted of; verbal dirt, negative rocks and in one case, an actual ice cube, that was thrown at my forehead. Through choices, information and inspiration I used all these negative events as my foundation to stand up and rise above the false beliefs that I carried for so long. Many times I found myself in a very dark place and alone. How we see ourselves is fragile, and when we allow harsh actions, negative words or opinions to be the only thing we embrace over and over, eventually we breakdown and begin to believe what others have thrown upon us.
I am Grateful every day that I was strong enough on my own to pull myself out emotionally. I searched everywhere and anywhere to find a kind word, a quote, a story, that could lift my spirit and allow me to feel good about who I am. Over time I became solid in my path, knowing that my stories, my journey and more importantly in my knowledge that ONE KIND WORD could make a difference in ONE person’s life.
My goal is to reach out to 250,000 women across the globe by the end of the year. This is ONLY a START!!! My passion is to offer a kind word, A HUG (Happy Unique and Gorgeous) , and inspiration so that they may know they are worthy and beautiful as an individual.
I am creating a wall on the Circles of Good.org website for those to send me YouTube videos of your Circles of Good within your home town. Circles of Good Video’s must consist of 3 or more people holding hands, placing someone you know, or even better ,a stranger inside the circle. Those of you who are holding hands and surrounding the person in the circle, offer and express at least ONE KIND POSITIVE WORD to the person standing in the middle.
Once everyone has said something positive to the surrounded person, that person can either join the circle if they choose or they can just leave. Either way our goal is to let them know that they were surrounded today by the strength of a positive word. I have seen what ONE KIND Word can do and the uplifting and empowering feeling that resonates is something we all need to experience.
ONE PERSON CAN ...DO SO MUCH!! Your generous donation will help with the bracelets, T-shirts, Workshops, Financial Assistant for programs that offer information and Inspiration throughout the globe. We cannot put a price on lifting someone’s spirits or helping someone create happiness, but it can help get them started on that path.
