The Eagles' Nest LGBTQIA Youth Grp

Hi, lovlies!  We are the leaders of an LGBTQIA youth group in the NC Triad.  We offer love, acceptance, and support for ALL that come across our path.  We have very little, but we share ALL that we have with ALL we can!

For 4 years, we have opened our home dozens of LGBTQIA identified and supportive youth, hosting various events, call banks, rallies, and connected these folks from a very rural setting to other groups in larger areas in order to make sure each of us knows that we are not alone, we are not isolated, and there are others just like us, offering us love and support.

During this time, we have stepped beyond that, and offered housing to displaced, castaway, homeless youth, and have provide Home for 7 young men, at various times, that have desperately needed our help.  These kids came to us with the clothes on their backs, broken hearts, crumbled dreams, and shattered self esteem.  We embraced them, in all their glory and mess, and accepted them as one of our own.  We fed them, clothed them, nursed them back to health, both physcally and mentally, and connected them with supportive peers, mentors, resources, and helped them stand on their own feet, and find their next path toward wholeness.

Now, we need YOUR help.  Our home is falling into disrepair.  As homeowners, something always needs to be fixed.  Right now, our septic tank is cracked and crumbling.  Our heat pump is fried.  And, our roof is leaking.

On one source of family income, there is no way we can make these repairs ourselves, nor can we afford to pay contractors to make these repairs for us.

Please help us repair these things, and keep this safe space open and operational for everyone we can offer our unconditional love and acceptance.
