UW-Whitewater Paintball - Nationals

The University of Wisconsin - Whitewater Paintball club team has the opportunity to participate in the National Collegiate Paintball Association's (NCPA) College National Championships in Kissimmee, FL during the dates of April 15 - 17. The club is doing what it can to raise money to attend the event and is looking for your help!
UW-W is known for its athletics being so successful, but when it comes to club sports there is little funding available. Paintball, for the most part, is paid for solely by the members of the club. These costs include individuals gear to play, registration to tournaments, travel, and lodging accommodations. This season, the Paintball club members have paid out of pocket to fund the creation of a way to practice on campus. Reball, or rubber "paintballs", are used so that the team can practice in gyms throughout campus, to hone their skills for upcoming tournaments. While this expense has helped improve the team's skills, it has also drained their already low wallets while attending their secondary education at UW-Whitewater.
Between registration, paintballs, rental vehicle costs, fuel, and lodging, the expenses for the National Tournament total over $4000!
The UW-W Paintball team is asking for your help to make their trip to Nationals a possibility! With new freshman competing for their first time, to seniors about to say goodbye to the sport forever, all of the members are extremely passionate about competing for the love of the game and Whitewater Warhawk Pride!
To show the club's appreciation, those that choose to help the club can expect to see their names and either a promotion or personal message in a recap video of the National Tournament. This video will be posted on YouTube and over Facebook and heavily shared by members of the team in the days following the event!
