An Act Of Sara: Kid Band Concert

Please support this effort to raise $3000 to help defray the costs associated with putting on what we believe will be a fun, important and highly engaged concert of kid bands on the grounds of the Unitarian Society of Germantown on Lincoln Drive in Mount Airy on Saturday May 30th from 3-9PM.

I had long wanted to organize a special kid band concert here in the Northwest section of Philadelphia to celebrate all the talented kids and our wonderful community. When I heard Bart mention in his incredibly touching eulogy about performing an "Act of Sara", it cut me to the core. I wanted to do something to bring people together, foster connections and generate good intentions in her name. 

I think this concert will do just that and celebrate Sara, Bart and their children in a spirit of positivity. Please come and visit with us to listen to music, share in delicious food that will be available from Goat Hollow (thanks Neil!) and create longstanding connections that are outside of your everyday experience.

We will also need a lot of volunteers.
