stem cells for Krystal

Donation protected
On the morning of October 18, 2011 my life was forever changed in a horrific way. I was downstairs sleeping in my room when I heard a bunch of commotion upstairs. I thought my kids were fighting or something while getting ready for school. I went upstairs to find out I was completely wrong as two men with some kind of masks and a gun forced us downstairs and taped us up demanding drugs and money. We didn't have either so I told them to please take anything out of here and leave us alone. I hoped and prayed that that's how it would go. Again, I was wrong. After about an hour of tearing my house up the one who seemed to be in charge told me to get on my knees and I felt him put the gun against the back of my head and then everything went black. He shot me with a 9mm in the back of my head. As if that wasn't bad enough I was shot a second time with a 25 at the base of my head that came out through my neck. My son who was 15 was also shot in his head and died about four hours later due to the bullet hitting an artery. My babies are my world and I lost half of my world that morning. I was taken to emergency surgery and placed into a medically induced coma for three weeks. When I did finally wake up my parents had to explain to me that my son didn't survive, that he'd already been buried, and that the doctors say I'd never walk again because the bullet caused a traumatic brain injury. I was in denial for a while and thought I was gonna get better. Yet another wrong. Here it is almost four years later and I still can't walk very well and am unable to use my left arm. I was recently told about stem cells and that they may be able to fix me. Awesome!!! Medicare doesn't cover this and it needs to be paid for in cash, cash that I certainly don't have. I'm hoping to raise the money to have the treatment and regain my left side. No amount is too little or too large. A part of me died that day and all I'm left with right now is half of a working body. With your help I would be able to get my independence back, go shopping with my daughter, go back to school for my degree in architecture, and get a job cause social security disability only goes so far. I'd be able to do so much more, the possibilities are endless
