We supplement rent & deposits for victims of Domestic Violence. Your donations are tax-exempt since we are a 501(C)3.
Because of generous donations we have been able to help many people who would have otherwise not had a roof over their heads. We want to continue this and need your support!
We've met some amazing people with such drive and fortitude to change their lives.
One of our clients left an abusive situation with her little girl and ended up on the streets, homeless for 2-years. After finally committing herself to a program at a local homeless shelter she was able to work her way into opportunities that included going to school and having her own home. All she needed was a bit of financial assistance to qualify for a 2-year housing grant. We are happy to have been able to grant funds to this family and have high hopes for her and her 8-year old daughter.
Within the cycle of abuse, know that the victims are not just adults. The children often suffer. Changing schools, often losing their belongings and completely without ability to cope with all the bad things that accompany a situation where domestic violence is involved.
