Medical Support For My Sweet Jack

Hi everyone~
Most of you know that my dear Jack had surgery 2.5 years ago and unfortunately he has been in severe pain since then.
He tried his best to continue working after getting a job with a company he really loved. He was forced to stop working by the ongoing pain which spread from his eye, to his head and then to all of the major joints in his body.
We have tried all the traditional forms of treatment that are covered by insurance and nothing has provided any relief.
Jack has handled this excruciating pain with grace, courage and humility. I have always been grateful to be married to him and this experience has made me admire and respect him even more.
I would love for Jack to have the opportunity to work with some national experts who may be able to help him in significant ways. We have accessed most of the help available locally and have been met with shoulder shrugs and looks of helplessness by doctors at OHSU, Portland Clinic, Casey Eye Institue, Kaisser etc. There are still some options locally but they are not covered by insurance and therefore not accessible for us.
We still have all the expenses of a family of four and, because Jack is unable to work, we are living on my income.
This is difficult for us to do but it speaks to the depth of our need. Your help would mean so much to us.
Finally, my gratitude for my family, friends and community who have loved and supported both Jack and I during this trying time fills me up and keeps me hopeful, encouraged and inspired.
