Let me start of by saying thank you for taking the time to read this! Yesterday Monday May 11, 2015 evening while the whole family Played out side the front yard with our dog Cosita. A terrible accident. Happened she got her self loose from her leash and got run over by a truck. It was awful since the children. Witness the incident. My sister and I rush her to the vet. They evaluated her to see if she could be safe! They said her organs were in place and okay.How ever the the X-rays revealed her pelvis with 4 fractures! They said she would be okay with surgery. At that point we where relive.We knew she was goin to make it! But our hopes came down when they gave us the estimated which was between $3,500 to $6,000 We has no clue how vets work, so we ask about payment options. They need it some money up front to start the process and the rest at time of discharge. My mother Ada which is Cositas owner, ask if we couldn't would they take her to a animal shelter? They said No! We will Euthanize her. Which i explain to my mother what it meant. We couldn't let that happened she was part of our family! Thank God we came up with a small amount to start the process. However we need the rest to be paid off at the time of discharge! Not to mention the follow up appointments and medications! The kids will be so Happy to see her come home! We would be really thankful! No amount is to small anything will help and if you can't donate please help us spread her story,to other who can!
