I just wanted to send my thanks to everyone that made getting my race chair happen. I got my race chair this past Friday. Its a whole lot different than what I'm used to in my regular chair so I will need lots of training to get ready for my first race in it. I was hoping to be able to do the Chickfila 5K in LaGrange in the new chair but that is not going to happen. I will still be doing the race but just in my regular chair. I need more than one week to get ready to race in the new chair.

Ive been training for months to race in 5k road races. I have a regular "everyday" wheelchair that I have done about ten 5k road races in but Ive had it since I was in middle school and I have just about out grown it. I would really like to upgrade my chair to get a true racing wheelchair (pictured) so that I'm able to participate in races with farther distances. Each race wheelchair is custom built to the individual and custom obviously has it extra costs so I need all the help I can get in the raising of the funds for this new chair. Anything will help. Thanks.

If you are stalking Tyler Thompson's donation page you may notice the percentage when down. Why? Because he said he moved his "goal" down because no one was donating before - I convinced him to move it back UP so that he can get the chair he REALLY wants!!!! Come on yall - we can do this!!! Please help our friend Tyler get a new wheelchair. He's a sweet 24-year-old with spina bifida, and he's outgrown the wheelchair he's had since middle school! Any amount will help. If you took a step today, why not take this step for Tyler?
