The Trinidaddio Blues Fest has been one of the largest blues festivals in Colorado. The festival has hosted nationally acclaimed entertainers (Tab Benoit, Charlie Musselwhite, Ronnie Baker Brooks and Rosie Ledet to name a few) as well as showcasing incredible local talent. Trinidaddio Blues Fest has drawn spectators from across the country, and even a few from over-seas, since 1999. Trinidaddio Blues Fest was a 2011 nominee for ‘Best Blues Fest – US’ at the Blues Music Awards (formerly the W. C. Handy Awards).
Trinidaddio Blues Fest, Inc. is a registered Colorado Non-Profit charitable organization formed in 2009, that benefits important local non-profit charitable organizations such as Noah’s Ark Animal Welfare Assn. (a no kill animal shelter), the Trinidad Fire Department Toy Drive, the Advocates Against Domestic Violence program and many local Children’s Art Programs.
The festival took place for 13 successful years, however, due to several unfortunate circumstances the event has been on hiatus. The absence of this great event has been deeply felt in the community and it is important that it returns. We hope you will consider helping us bring a great music festival back to southern Colorado and supporting a small rural community that relies on this type of event to help back our local non-profits.
We would appreciate your generous donation; it will help insure that the Trinidaddio Blues Fest is returned to its status as a national event and benefactor to deserving local charities.
