Hello,
My name is Trey Drummond. I'm 16 years old and I have been selected to represent Virginia in the 2015 Annual Down Under Wrestling Meet International in Australia and New Zealand. I am currently a sophomore at Warhill High School in Williamsburg, Virginia. I started wrestling at 7 years old and find wrestling to be a highly competitive and rewarding sport. I am a varsity wrestler and have competed in the state tournament the past two seasons.
While I was diagnosed with type 1 Diabetes at the age of 4 and developed Celiac disease 2 years ago, I love the challenge, preparation and training wrestling brings on a daily basis. I have not allowed the challenges of my Diabetes or Celiac disease to limit my ability to succeed in sports.
I also believe in giving back to the sports that I love. I am a volunteer coach for the Williamsburg Hornets Youth Football Program and I assist with the Williamsburg Hornets Wrestling Youth program. I help my high school team sponsor an Annual Toy Drive and I am proud to actively participate in giving back to my community.
I am extremely proud to be chosen to represent Virginia but I'm reaching out to you my Family, Friends, Fellow wrestlers and other supporters to help raise $7,000 need to get me there. Any donation will be greatly appreciated.
