Healing Prayer Ministry Expansion

Lifelong heath challenges led Susan O'Brien to rely on spirituality for peace — peace she is compelled to share with those facing serious and/or chronic issues. After practicing healing prayer with her church for nine years and studying Reiki, Healing Touch, and other complementary modalities, she began volunteering in a street ministry, through hospice, and with individuals. Rather than charge fees, Susan relies on donations from supporters.

Susan offers a compassionate, intuitive approach that includes discussion, prayerfulness, and sometimes light touch (also known as laying on of hands) or near touch. A certified Reiki practitioner, Susan believes no one is alone in suffering — and that prayer makes a difference, even if physical healing is limited. She especially loves exploring how angels and other heavenly helpers can support us.

Her experiences reflect one of her favorite sayings: "Peace is not found in the absence of difficulty, but in the presence of love."

Free prayer requests are accepted through her website.

Susan also seeks donations of clean, quiet office-building space (in eastern Loudoun County or western Fairfax County) with room for two chairs, two small tables, and a massage-type table.
