Tory is going back in on...

Tory is going back in on Monday the 25th for another retina surgery, please keep him in your prayers as the healing will be very intense and require him to be face down on a massage table for 5 days straight!

Tomorrow from 11-9p Red Brick Pizza in Ventura (Kohls shopping center) will be donating a portion of their proceeds to Tory. We will be there at 12:30, however you can stop in anytime for delicious food for a great cause :) Thanks!

Great Follow up appointment today! Dr....

Great Follow up appointment today! Dr. said he is so happy with the healing process so far, Tory does have to stay on his left side 1 more day and then we get the next check up next Monday.

VENTURA, CA Medical & Healing

Christmas Eve Morning Tory DuVarney was in a surfing accident, the tip of his surfboard entered his right eye with such force that the eyeball was popped. They call this a "ruptured globe". Once we arrived at the Emergency Room and they did a CT scan we were told we would need an emergency surgery to save the eye. After a very long day we got the news that they did not need to remove the eye and it would be left in gods hands to see how it heals up and what vision could be restored. There will be more doctors appointments, specialists and future surgeries, but we believe Tory's "Vision Will Be Restored". Tory is the founder of Handsome Devil Clothing and is therefore self employed and unfortunately uninsured, the costs we face will be great however we will stop at nothing to make sure he has the best care and the best outcome. Your monetary donation is appreciated and will be used only for medical expenses however we would like to ask you for one more thing; A prayer. We believe with our heart and soul that is even more important than money. Thank You for every dollar and every prayer.

Have you looked in the the Ventura County Ace Program? It is there to help uninsured adults working and not. My husband was in an accident and needed surgery and we applied for Ace and they helped pay for 90% of it. It is a wonderful program for those in need and it is retro active. So great you are close to your goal! Good Luck!
