Tennessee Valley Brewing Company

At Tennessee Valley Brewing Company our goal is to create a pleasant, enjoyable and social environment by providing refreshing high quality beers in a relaxing atmosphere. Currently we have approvals from both the Federal and State governments to brew, we have received the brew house and are working on our build-out. 

What's the money for?
The money that we are requesting will be used to assist us in bringing to Clarksville, TN a new place to come in and enjoy locally produced craft beer. We will use these funds to finish up construction costs and order the last of the equipment that we will help us set us apart from other local breweries.

Like many other people whose goal is to open up their own brewery, Wendy and I have decided to follow this dream for a couple of reasons. The first reason is between the two of us we have been laid off 7 times by large corporations forcing us to move from state to state to find jobs. Because of this we have decided that it is time for us take control of our own future and  bring our combined experience in the service industry and open TN Valley Brewing Co.
Our second reason is to share our passion and dedication to the brewing industry by proving quality craft beer to our community with a welcoming and friendly atmosphere.

TN Valley, where did we start?
Our story starts with our head brewer Eric. He has been home brewing since 1990 when his father gave him a home brew kit for Christmas and the "addiction" took off from there. He has won several medals over the years for his beers which showcased his passion and dedication to producing a high quality beer and to keep improving on each batch. He has had the pleasure of working professionally as an assistant brewer for 3 years where he considers the lessons he learned invaluable in making him a more rounded brewer. Additionally he has honed his managerial skills over the past 30 years in service related industries such as restaurants, call centers, banking, and the US Army with the 82nd Airborne Divison.
Wendy gained her interest in beer and brewing through her husband's hobby and has assisted him over the last 17 years with his many brewing sessions. Because of this exposure, she has went on to brew some on her own and has gained a new appreciation for the art. Her desire to learn about the latest technology has been an integral in the development of our company's website and social media pages. Wendy also has 10 years' experience in management and finance which makes her an important asset to the company serving as the CFO and COO of the company. She is also active in the community where she volunteers her time and skills in the community to those in need of financial guidance as well as raising money for local charities.
Beers
At TNVBC we will produce six core beer styles ranging from American pale ales and wheat beers to IPA's and stouts. We will also have on tap four rotating, small batch beers ranging from fruit flavored beers to sours that will peak our customers interest. This wide range of beers will allow us to reach a large population of the community all with various tastes. Our customers cover a broad spectrum of our community ranging from military to medical, from industrial to professional. All of which look to enjoy a relaxing atmosphere and unwind while having a cold beer and sharing a few laughs with friends.
