Creating Homes For Veterans Fund

First of 24 buildings! 8-Unit, Single Bedroom Apartments.

In 2013, DOLL, INC., a non-profit organization serving homeless Veterans, was deeded 96 townhomes by Cook County Housing Authority (CCHA).  The property was the old Celina Blake housing, located in Ford Heights, Illinois. These vacant housing, 24 buildings in all, have now been renamed "The
Veterans Village."  We are very close to finishing the first piece of property.  An 8-Unit, single bedroom apartments.  Due to unforseen costs, we were forced to push the completion date to later July/August 2016.  



After the completion of the first building, we will have 95 more townhomes (or 23 buildings) to redevelop. Therefore, we need your financial support now!



Gus from Gus Bock's Ace Hardware with Valspar Paints,  donated their staff, material and paint supplies toward the finishing of this building.


The Veterans Village will provide affordable housing to both men and women Veterans and their families.

Each day we receive calls from Veterans, who are in need of housing, or who are nearing discharge from the hospital after going through medical procedures with no place to call home,  This is so disturbing considering that Veterans have sacrificed their lives for our freedom and the freedom of others!  

For over 8 years, DOLL, INC. has been providing permanent housing to Veterans.  We need ALL HANDS ON DECK so that we can finish the work that we have started in the Veterans Village.  We need your help now!
