Thank you all for your continuing contributions. Still haven't gotten word on medical expenses yet, but this does help with the other more immediate expenses. I must say that the words of encouragement , memories shared, and condolences given have been a great help to me in this time as well.
The memorial / celebration of life service for Abbey has been planned and will be this Saturday morning. Details can be found in the image I have provided below. Thank you.
24 hours, and already $1000 in to it. I certainly thank everyone who has donated to this point, and also thank those who are donating through other means. If you're unable to donate, I can understand that. Everyone has their life troubles, and unfortunately money can be that common one. I would ask to at least share it with your circle of friends, if possible. My sister pointed out in her sharing that if people donated just $5, a great amount could be raised very fast, which is true.
Thank you again, everyone, and may God bless you all.
I miss her, dearly. I love her, dearly. She wouldn't have chose to go like this of her own accord, but she made do with it, and touched us all still in the very end.
After all is said and done, life moves on, regrettably at times. Her time in the hospital stacked up some financial burden, amongst other little things. I would greatly appreciate any help in that, but please don't think of this is a "this is the only way you can help" thing. I am grateful already for the time many have taken to give their prayers, their sweet thoughts, so on and so forth.
I don't know how much currently, but I do hope to solve it out as soon as I can, as I wouldn't want an over donation.
The loss of someone as deeply loved as Abbey reminded me of a quote by Edna St Vincent Millay: "Where you used to be, there is a hole in the world, which I find myself constantly walking around in the daytime, and falling in at night."
Dear Tim, May you find the kindness of friends to comfort you, compassion to warm and sustain you, and the unfailing love of our Savior to bring peace to your heart.
With deepest sympathy,
Dear Tin, Abbey was such a joy to know. We are so very sorry for your loss and want you to know you and your family are in our hearts and prayers, that you will find comfort. Love, George &Wendy Middleton
