Political partisanship has never been greater in this country. Media publishing sites primarily reflect a singular editorial point of view. Major print publications such as The Wall Street Journal (conservative) and The New York Times (liberal) reflect this status. Online publications are even more fervent in presenting their ideologies such as Brietbart (very conservative) and Huffpost (very liberal).
There are few bi-partisan on line media sites today (or print publications) and none like The Moderated Media that present opportunities for people to be exposed to points of view outside their political bubbles. The Moderated Media provides that exposure by presenting conservative and liberal reporting and opinion in a side-by-side format .
Society will benefit as site visitors gain an understanding of other viewpoints and become less partisan.
The funds will be used to advertise to bring traffic to the site.
The funds will be put to use immediately.
Being able to successfully launch this site would fulfill a desire of mine (and many people I know) to get politics off Facebook and into a forum like The Moderated Media.
