Theatreathon 2017

Donation protected
On Sunday 27th August 2017, performers from Risborough Youth Theatre will be singing, acting and dancing for 5 hours straight, in order to raise money for their 2017 pantomime 'Dick Whittington'.

Established in 2001, Risborough Youth Theatre (RYT) is a non-profit theatre company based in Princes Risborough, which gives young people aged 6-21 the opportunity to perform in shows such as My Fair Lady (2017), Seussical (2011), and Bugsy Malone (2007), as well as pantomimes such as Aladdin (2014), Jack and the Beanstalk (2016) and Dick Whittington (2013 and 2017).

This year, over 50 people will be taking part in Dick Whittington - RYT's biggest cast to date. This means that more funding is needed in order to provide sufficient costumes, set, and props, to ensure every single member of RYT has a fantastic time both on and off stage.

£100 is a target set as a small benchmark just for this event. In reality, it costs around £6000 to put on a show, so if we reach our target, donations are of course still welcome.

Lastly, there is a small competition going on between our cast members as to who can raise the most money! If you are donating as sponsorship of a specific person, please state so in your donation description!

You can find out more about RYT at www.risboroughyouththeatre.co.uk

Thank you!
