The Family of Alex Hickey

Alex Hickey was a fun loving, whiskey drinking, motorcycle riding, hard working, great friend to those he cared about. He loved his career of working on yachts and achieved his ultimate goal of becoming a captain just a few weeks before his passing. He was both a grumpy 90 year old man but yet a fun, outgoing guy with a 30 year old mentality at the same time.. weird I know, but true. He had so much love for all of his family... his sister Dre, brother Elliot and their significant others, niece and nephew, and especially his mother Shari who was always a home-base and a solid rock in his life. His banter talk was truly unmatched, his adventure stories were unrivaled, and his knowledge of boat-work was beyond impressive. Alex Hickey, you will live on and forever be remembered by all of those who have had the pleasure of meeting you. I’m sure each and every one of them have a memorable story they can’t forget, because that’s just the kind of person you were.

Alex Hickey was loved by so many but most of all those closest to him, his family. We will be hosting a fundraiser at The Village Well Pub on Monday, January 15th at 8:00pm in remembrance of Alex.
