Skip's medical bills from cancer

Skip & I sold all we had to open an animal rescue- after 9 years he & I are still the main caretakers along with a few volunteers caring for 157 animals. Skip was just diagnosed with multiple myeloma & is preparing to start chemo for the next 18 weeks, then hopefully stemcell transplant treatment after that. We are terrified & hoping for some healing of this incurable disease. We run a small candy store to support ourselves & live month to month to pay our bills. We are already incurring expenses that are taking what little savings we had. In addition to getting through the treatments we still have the animals to care for. We really need to find funding to hire some help for them in addition to our volunteers. Any money given that we don't need for medical expenses will be donated to our non-profit animal rescue- SC CARES. Please help us if you can- it's not just Skip but also the animals that depend on us that need your help.
