Save our small business

We are a true small Mom & Pop (both veterans) cupcakery, with only the wife and husband as workers. We do everything ourselves, from baking to cleaning to inventory, accounting  to counter service.  Mom (Eve) also works as an adjunct (part time) collegiate instructor, so for the most part, the husband (Michael) works long hours to keep the four year old business running. We cannot afford extra help, but up until now have not needed any.

Recently (July 2015), Michael underwent major surgery for cancer (26 tumors), and the after-effects are contnuing (mostly heart issues).  This has limited our ability to stay open and continue serving our customers. We are looking for a little help to maybe pick up part time help and recover some of the lost earnings until Michael can return in a greater capacity, otherwise we will have to close. 

This is tough for us to have to ask for help, as we have been able to overcome many of the typical small business obstacles, and in doing so have created a very loyal clientel, but the thought of losing it all over health issues is even tougher to take.
