We are in the process of building an Inter-Faith Peace Fellowship known as Temple Of The Infinite Universe. The aim of our ministry is to build Inter-Faith Peace through networking and the promotion of understanding. By raising awareness of the Oneness we all share, we can better come together as sisters and brothers regardless of the differences which seem to separate us. We are all children of the same Divine Source, and all are worthy of compassion and respect.
Temple Of The Infinite Universe currently functions as an online and physical fellowship serving people world-wide in various capacities. Using the medium of Internet Radio, social media, personal phone communications, Skype meetings, conference calling and personal face to face meetings we bring together people of Good Will from many different backgrounds encouraging a wide interchange of ideas and mutual cooperation for the common good. We are also in the process of accuring land and incorporating as a para-religious non-profit within the State of Missouri; a non-profit which will seek to build bridges of understanding between Hindus, Jews, Buddhists, Christians, Muslims, Pagans, New Age, and many others. Our goal is to build a physical Temple without boundaries where The Divine Source is honored in All of It's Names and Manifestations.
Our other Concerns/Causes Include:
* Living in Harmony With The Earth.
* Lessoning The Effects of Climate Change.
* Economic And Social Justice.
* Marriage Equality and Civil Rights for LGBT.
* Universal Human Rights.
* Animal Rights And the Spreading of Compassion.
Our future plans include the establishment of an Inter-Faith Retreat Center, Meditation Hall, and Inter-Faith Library featuring the sacred texts of all known religious traditions as well as Peace Studies material. To these ends we are launching the first phase of our fundraising efforts to support the work currently being done as well as laying the groundwork for future growth. As one of our friends said, "World Peace has to start somewhere." We could not agree more. World Peace starts when a small group of individuals lay aside their fear and distrust and consciously plant the seeds of love and understanding. Let us together plant those seeds in our hearts today!
