Bernie Sanders for President- 2016

Donation protected
Bernie Sanders is an Independent Senator from Vermont. However, Bernie does caucus with the Democrats and will be running for President of the United States in 2016 as a Democratic candidate.

Bernie is ready to take on the billionaire class. Wealth and income inequality is at it's largest gap since the Roaring 20's. The middle class is disappearing. There are 50 million people in the U.S. who don't have health care. The United States is the only major country in the world to not guarantee health care to every citizen. Bernie Sanders is committed to an agenda that promotes primary health care, as he wants every American to have access to quality healthcare in their region.

In 1990, the United States led the world in the percentage of 25-34 year olds with college degrees. Today, we're in 12th place. Simply put, Americans can't afford a secondary education. Senator Sanders wants to make higher education affordable for everybody. He wants to increase funding for Pell Grants, allow students to refinance their loans to take advantage of low interest rates, and to guarantee affordable loans to students.

Because Bernie isn't a big-money candidate, he is relying on donations from the American people to jumpstart his presidential campaign. If 300,000 Americans can donate $5, the goal of this GoFundMe page will have been reached, and this certainly will help Bernie Sanders' campaign in the Democratic primaries. He needs every dollar he can get to fight other Democratic candidates like Hillary Clinton and Martin O'Malley, and is relying on small individual donations to help uplift his campaign.

When the goal of $1.5 million is met, or when January 1st hits, the money will be withdrawn and given to Bernie Sanders personally. I live about 15 minutes away from his office in Burlington, Vermont. I am hoping that once this page gets a few donations, and goes from $100 to $1000, poeple will look at this page with more credibility and won't hesitate to donate. Hopefully we can attract attention that way.

Voting for Hillary Clinton will only be bringing on more of the same. America needs something different, and Bernie Sanders is ready to deliver. Please, even if you can only donate $5, you are doing your part. $1.5 million sounds like a lot, but we only need 1 American to donate for every 600,000. Please, donate whatever you can to help Bernie Sanders become the next President of the United States in 2016.

If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to ask.

"On the same day that Hillary Clinton visited three homes of wealthy Manhattan benefactors to raise an estimated $1 million in campaign funds, Sen. Sanders gave a Howard University audience a sneak preview of a campaign platform that is squarely aimed at the billionaire class."

"When we stand together, we will always win. When men and women stand together for justice, we win. When Black, White, and Hispanic people stand together for justice, we win. When straight and gay people stand together for justice, we win. When the young and the old stand together for justice, we win. When working families stand together, we win."
