Team Some Assembly Required (SAR) is a veteran operated project comprised of adaptive athletes and their supporters dedicated to the growth and expansion of competitive adaptive sports across multiple disciplines. We are currently in the process of becoming a 501(c)(3) Non Profit Organization.
MISSION:
Our athletes have shattered the limitations and expectations placed upon them by their ``disability`` and society through the participation in various competitive endeavors. Our goal is to enable and empower these athletes to act as ambassadors for Adaptive Sports by encouraging, educating and defying expectations at all levels.
SUPPORT:
With your help you can have an immediate and direct impact on these adaptive athletes' lives. All money raised will go directly towards covering the travel and operational expenses of getting Team SAR out to various competitions, conventions, and events across America. Currently, we've been given an incredible opportunity to share a booth at the CrossFit Games and we need your support to get our athletes to California.

ALWAYS ADAPT - ALWAYS OVERCOME
We have witnessed the incredibly positive impact adaptive athletes can have upon society. We want to broadcast the message of ``always adapt, always overcome`` by enabling these athletes to participate and excel in fitness competitions, races, and sporting events. Through their example we believe we can inspire an entire generation of Americans to greater physical and mental health.
GOAL:TEAM SAR athletes and their families will gain confidence and independence, develop a sense of purpose, build self-esteem, meet positive role models and enjoy an enhanced quality of life through legitimate competition.
