How you can help make "Tai Chi History in America"
by sending Shifu Michael Paler to China.
Michael has been invited by Dr. John Fung, a 5th Generation Disciple of Grand Master Wei Shu Ren, to go to China, on April 28th 2015, and become an official 6th Generation Disciple of the Grand Master through his daughter Wei XiLan.
This unique honor will officially put Shifu Michael in the record books of Imperial Yang Tai Chi as one of only three people in the entire United States chosen to be a 6th Generation Disciple/Direct Lineage Holder under the Wei line. (Ray Abeyta and Wolf Carter of El Paso, Texas, will also be receiving this honor along with Michael at the same time.)
Michael has always loved helping people and looks forward to learning in China more of the ancient ways in greater depth, in order to help people in his immediate Colorado Springs community and beyond (via travel and SKYPE). He has also set up a Tai Chi Scholarship Fund to help those in need who cannot afford to pay. Your additional support towards the Scholarship Fund will help transform the lives of many people experiencing ill health, need for rehabilitation, pain, and suffering.
Many people who come to the school have lost hope, having tried everything available in "modern medicine" just to feel better and experience being healthy and "whole" again -- not only physically, but emotionally, mentally, and spiritually as well. Tai Chi, Qigong, and Push Hands -- together or separately -- offer new possibilities for a new lifestyle and way of being. People learn to overcome their adversities through such a transformation.
We have also helped many women who come to us feeling vulnerable and powerless. Some have been abused, even feel destroyed. Tai Chi helps them gain and/or renew their "inner power," which is what the inner dimension of Tai Chi is all about. Our Push Hands class provides an opportunity for extraordinary renewal, as they experience a new sense of physical power as well!
We appreciate donations from any and all who want to help Michael get to China and back.
This includes airfare, hotel, passport, visas, meals, keeping the school going back home, etc. (No donation too small nor too big) Thank you!
