Tables for 2/3 Trillium

We are 3 2/3 blend classes at Trillium Charter School in need new tables. Trillium Charter School is unique for many reasons, one being that we exist within an old garage building. On clear, fall afternoons, sun shines through the garage doors and lights up our classrooms. During work time, we look up to see beautiful tree tops and the sky. When it's time for recess or outside work time, we slide open the garage door and are immediatly connected with nature. The downside is that our classrooms are small. Furniture within must be deliberate and thoughtful. 

Currently, the tables in our classroom feel either too small, too big or too old for the social and constructivist learning that Trillium promotes. No matter how we organize them, the spaces feel cramped. Environment is a very important component of a students learning experience and so we are hoping to purchase new tables that better meet our needs. However, since we are a charter school, our funding is limited. 

The funraising goal is set high. $1,500 would buy each of the three classrooms 5 new tables, each seating 4 students.  Of course, we are grateful for any contributions and table replacement does not have to take place in one single purchase. The biggest and oldest tables will be replaced first and it can be a process that takes place over time.
