The Little Orphaned Annie Fund

Please donate to our Little Orphaned Annie Fund. Tabby Town is overwhelmed with kittens!

One of our favorite heartwarming stories features Foxy, a 4-month old kitten who was rescued at the Erie County Water Authority.  She was so named because this little girl was managing survival in spite of the many foxes who were also living in the area.  Foxy was dehydrated, filthy, flea-infested and emaciated.  She was immediately fed and given a good bath, and then taken to our veterinary partner for care.  Foxy, a very sweet girl,  presumably suffered a  head trauma and as a result, is experiencing (temporary) blindness which is anticipated to clear up as she heals and gets proper carein a safe environment as well as loving attention. The next step for Foxy is a visit to a veterinary eye specialist for further diagnosis.  Your support matters!  Your donations will directly help us to give Foxy the medical attention she needs to become healthy and ready for adoption to a loving home.

Another of our amazing tales involves a brother and sister named Wilson and Wanda who found their way to us just this week after living under a porch.  They were rescued by a good Samaritan and brought to Tabby Town and are both are in need of immediate veterinary attention.  Wanda has a severe mouth infection and will need surgery.  However, she is so brave and sweet and we know that with proper healing she will make a fabulous companion for a local family.  Wilson, a beautiful gray tabby with a great personality, is quite weak and needs nutritional support before he can find a home.  Both of them have captured our hearts.

Although our nonprofit cat and kitten adoption center began 7 years ago as a support for our local animal welfare organizations in Buffalo, New York, we are now also functioning as a rescue location for homeless cats and kittens. That’s why since the beginning of kitten season more than 45 wonderful and adorable rescued kittens have arrived here at their home between homes and we need your help!

Most of them need treatment for conditions including upper respiratory infection, dehydration, malnutrition and other digestive problems. They all need to be spayed & neutered, too.  With the right nutrition, care and love our volunteer team will make sure they all become adoption-ready!  Each of them will be receiving all necessary medical attention at Brighton-Eggert Animal Clinic and Operation Pets, our veterinary care partner, and we need your support to help cover these expenses.

Any donation you can make is very much appreciated and will truly make a direct impact as it helps us to "help them grow".  For a donation of $50, you can become a Tabby Town Guardian Ambassador to one of these very special babies.  You can follow your kitten’s progress and will also be recognized on our Little Orphaned Annie Kitten Fund Donor Wall at our location.
