AtteHuskyteers £100K for charity

We are the “Åtte HUSKYteers”. Eight like-minded, spirited women from varied walks of life. All with passion & hunger we came together on a mission, to find ourselves an event which would not just push us to the limit physically but emotionally & mentally too.
Having now found such an event, classed by our organisers “Global Adventure Challenges” as extreme, we are about to commence our preparation for what is undoubtedly going to be a very busy, exciting & tough year.
In March 2016 we will spend six days & nights enduring temperatures as low as - 30°, we will be living, eating & sleeping in the frozen wilderness of the Arctic whilst tending to & driving our own team of Huskies 285km from TromsØ in Norway to Kiruna in Sweden.
The time & preparation required for a trip of this nature is extensive but guess what, we don’t stop there!
Our additional aim over the next year through sponsorship & varied fundraising events is to raise 100k for charity.
We have chosen four charities, “Insight Counselling”, “Age Scotland”, “Medical Detection Dogs” & “Coppafeel”. All are significant to the team & have therefore been specifically selected to benefit.
